Michael Carter - Partner

For more than 20 years, attorney Michael Carter has provided aggressive family law representation throughout West Tennessee, focusing on complex contested divorce cases as well as cases involving custody and child support, alimony, post-divorce modification, and juvenile court matters. He also devotes a substantial portion of his law practice to the areas of workers’ compensation, personal injury, criminal defense, and business litigation. He has also represented numerous clients in appeals before the Tennessee Court of Appeals and the Tennessee Supreme Court. In addition, Mr. Carter has extensive knowledge of Tennessee municipal law as the City Attorney for Milan, Tennessee.
